We’re working very hard on the next release of the ElfiqOS (EOS) for the Elfiq Link Load Balancer products, and we can already announce a few very anticipated features:

  • QoS traffic classification and prioritization: rate limiting and traffic allocation, for both inbound and outbound traffic.
  • SitePathMTPX: full support for dynamic IP links.  With retail DSL/Cable modems or links in certain regions, customers cannot get static IP addresses, and this new improvement will enable the use of low-cost links for point to point resilience.
  • Protocol support update: protofix for both active and passive FTP, with full balancing possibilities.

We have many exciting items we’re keeping under covers for now, and we welcome comments and suggestions!
